Creative Storytelling Workshop

Explore storytelling through performance, character creation and collaborative scene development. This workshop encourages children to build confidence, communication skills and creative expression while working towards a final creative production.

Participants will develop and present either:

  • a short video series

  • a live stage showcase

making the experience both process-driven and outcome-focused.

    • Character study: Participants explore character personalities, emotions, motivations and physical expression through guided activities and roleplay exercises.

    • Scene development: Children learn how to build scenes through storytelling structure, improvisation and collaborative performance work.

    • Creative collaboration: Activities encourage teamwork, listening skills and shared creative problem-solving.

    • Performance & media exposure: Participants experience the process of creating content for either:

      • stage performance

      • filmed video storytelling

    • Confidence-building environment

    • Sessions are designed to encourage experimentation, self-expression and participation in a safe and supportive space.

    • Recommended Age Group: Primary & Secondary School students

    • Programme Duration: 8–10 sessions

    • Session Length: Approximately 3 hours per session
