Ateeqah Mazlan explores her dream to strengthen parent-child relationships
Body:
Since young, actress and influencer Ateeqah Mazlan has harboured the dream of opening her own centre for children. That dream came true when she founded Ms. Nat Learning Exploration, an edutainment-based initiative that allows children to learn while playing.
Established last May, Ms. Nat Learning Exploration has already organised its first playgroup trial session at Eastpoint Mall, Simei. Through this effort, Ms Nat and her team hope to provide opportunities for children to learn joyfully in a nurturing environment.
Her husband, Rostam Effendie Yacob, is also actively involved in video production and music for the company. Ateeqah said their aim is to create programmes that not only focus on the children but also strengthen the bond between parents and children.
“I want every baby and child to be given the chance to experience play-based learning. Sometimes, there are families who may not have the financial means to send their children to enrichment programmes. That’s why we’ve made our digital content available for free,” she said.
In addition to classes, Ms. Nat Learning Exploration also produces educational videos uploaded on YouTube, offering an alternative form of enrichment to families.
Ateeqah, who has been working with children since 2006, explained that her background in performing arts and children’s fitness training helped her develop content that is both fun and educational.
“Through this platform, I hope to create memories for families and at the same time make learning enjoyable and accessible to children,” she added.

Turning a new chapter after overcoming life’s challenges, including being boycotted
Body:
Despite facing many challenges in life, including being boycotted by certain groups, actress and influencer Ateeqah Mazlan did not allow herself to be defeated. Instead, she rose again with renewed determination.
Now, Ateeqah is building a new journey through her company Ms Nat Learning Exploration, which focuses on providing creative and playful learning experiences for children.
She admitted that the obstacles she faced in the past were not easy, but they became valuable life lessons that strengthened her resilience.
“Every challenge is a form of responsibility. For me, life is a test, and we need to face it with courage. I am grateful to have a supportive husband who stood by me throughout those difficult times,” said Ateeqah.
In 2016, Ateeqah revealed that her husband Rostam Effendie was diagnosed with cancer. The situation was a heavy blow for her and the family, especially as she was then pregnant with their second child.
“At that point, I told myself I had to be strong. I couldn’t allow sadness to take over because I had to support my husband and raise my children. That period taught me a lot about patience, perseverance and hope,” she said.
Today, Rostam is healthy again and continues to support her in running Ms Nat Learning Exploration. Together, they are determined to make the brand a platform that benefits families, especially those with young children.
“I hope the work we do will give parents and children beautiful shared memories. For me, this is more meaningful than chasing fame or material success,” Ateeqah concluded.
